Birmingham City Nites Review

Welcome to my review on Birmingham City Nites Apartments , This was the first time i ever stayed in apartment as i usually stay in hotels but as i was staying in Birmingham for a Week i thought i would give it a try and have used this hotel since .
I was shocked how nice it looked online and didn't expect it to be so nice when i got there but its surprised me with its very top quality apartments .

Kitchen

The Apartments

The Apartments the joy of staying in a place like this is you have your home comforts like kettle , oven , freezer and fully working kitchen so no worrying about spending too much on takeout and restaurants you can have the comfort of even knowing you can wash & dry your clothes.

The whole apartment was kitted out with everything you needed DVD player, TV with Free view , Double bed in separate rooms and plenty of spacious room you also had a clean bathroom with shower and bath .
Bedding etc was clean although i found they didn't give you many large towels they do have cleaners that can clean your room everyday and provide you with more towels if you wish the cleaning staff were a little hard to talk too as the one i spoke to didn't understand me very well but she did in the end so i had more towels.
I felt very much at home here .
Depending which apartments you choose you can get a spacious outdoor area where you can relax if the weather is on your side or a smoker .
My only issue was the second time i stayed my buzzer did not work so if you order takeaway you better try and look out windows.

What else do they offer ?

You can upgrade your stay for a cost;

  • Car Parking
For parking in the actual apartment car park it costs £10 per night extra.
  • Breakfast Pack
    £9 per night
  • Gym Sauna and Pool Pass
£8 Day pass - The gym is not in the apartment area but not far walk you will be given pass to Bannatyne's Health Club
  • The National Sea Life Centre Pass
    £15 , This is a 10min short walk from apartments .
  • Robes & Slippers
    £5 per person
  • Full Clean
    £11
  • Small Clean
    £6

Prices For Stay

Prices can vary depending on length of stay and how busy it is but they can vary from £79 - Hundreds Last time i stayed for three nights and it cost me nearly 400 including your compulsory deposit .
Birmingham City Nites can be a very costly weekend away but if you want to stay somewhere that has your general creature comforts you have to pay a lot more .

Location

Arena View, 2 Edward Street, Birmingham, B1 2RX

I would definitely recommend if you have a big more of a budget for your weekend away the apartments are beautiful and close walk to shops , restaurants and a beautiful canal side.
Location wise i didn't feel comfortable going out at night as there was a few weird people about and i didn't feel too safe when i stayed but felt perfectly comfortable going out in the day .
So if you have the pennies i would definitely go again so i rate this 9 1/2 out of 10
