Booking online was very easy choose your cabin , dates and extras and then just pay your deposit during payment process we opted for cash upon arrival we went for a standard log cabin which had a beautiful view fitted up to 6 people and accommodated us with ;

We split the cost so it turned out to be amazing for prices if you split as a group and book in advance on busy periods it can get quite expensive but we were all very happy with our accommodation for the price .

We travelled in two vehicles from rural Stafford to the cabin, it was fairly easy to find through the country roads the sat nav did lead us off course a few times but we managed to find our way .
It took us around hour to get there but we did stop off at the shop during our journey .
First Impressions.
We arrived and first impressions were what a view from our cabin such a wonderful sight to know your going to wake up the next morning a nature .
Walked up the balcony where there was a table and chairs outside so you can sit and appreciate whats around you , then head through the front door and you are met with a standard kitchen and dining area to my left was the living area with a lovely large sofa and armchair , coffee table and TV .
Looked very clean and looked after - we then proceeded to check out our rooms for our stay , I took the large double bedroom which was very tidy and with fresh bedding and storage space the twin room was rather small but did its job!.
The bathroom area was very small to move around in but had a little storage and shower facility's and basic toiletries left for us.
We were very pleased with what we saw and was much looking forward to spending our weekend in a such a beautiful place .
Accual Stay
I do warn make sure you a prepared for self catering as we were very little prepared and overspent on a Alton towers experience during our stay and trying to get food was hard to come by you can use the pubs restaurant facilities but if your on a budget make sure you shop before you go .
During our stay we were very chilly in the lodge but a little bit of whisky solved our cold !
It was wonderful to wake up and sit and have a cuppa tea on the balcony of the lodge it felt very like home and could see a longer trip their for the future .
I would defiantly recommend for future stays and to others I rate my stay at 8/10.
