Newt & magical Creatures.

When I heard fantastic beast's was on its way to our screens , I was so excited to watch the trailer and see what to expect.
Magical beast's and where to find them is a prequel of the harry potter series and also written and produced by the one and only J.K Rowling
I was a little hesitant that it was over animated in the trailer on a few of the characters/special effects , but was very keen on giving it ago and have a love for magical fantasy life. .

My first impression was "wow"! they cast the role of newt schamanda (main character-Eddie Redmayne) so well , and got his quirky character traits right on! 

Cast wise I was certainly happy to see Colin Farrel in this film ,But I was expecting more out of his character in the film than what the trailer showed but he didn't seem to have that much of a part to play in my eyes .
He would as you say be a "Main Character"!
but I didn't think he had much of a edge in the characters personality and magic at temps which truly disappointed me,  obviously minus the ending when he transforms  .

Another character I absolutely fell in love with was Jackob Kowalski (played by Dan Fogler) Hes a new york muggle or as they say ( NO MAJ) who accidentally becomes exposed to the magical world while he was looking for help starting a bakery , I thought his acting was superb and you instantly felt for this character especially when he meets the wondrous Queenie Goldstein (played by Alison Sudol) who rather reminded me of older new york version of Luna lovegood and do well in making you want more from these character's in the future.

Blossoming friendship between Jacob & Newt

Fantastic Beasts and where to find them came to the UK cinemas on 18th November 2016 and New York on 10th November 2016  It has grossed $590 million dollar's worldwide and has spurred on the world on our magical journeys and new fans .

The story starts with Newt Scamander a British wizard arrives by boat to New York City in 1926 en route to Arizona to find a magical beast when suddenly his Niffler(magical beast) expanded out of his magical house in a suitcase .

As he attempts to capture his niffler back he meets Jacob Kowalski an during capturing Niffler he exposes the world of magic to the NO MAJ (muggle).
During all the commotion Newt gets arrested for being  an unregistered wizard and the events to follow unwind the rest of the movie plot which i wont spoil too much just in case but lets just say some magical beasts escaped and he has to try and find them with Tina Goldstien , who works for magical congress of America on his back.
Who is trying to do the right thing by taking newt to the magical congress with the creatures for punishment - as its against the law to have these magical beasts in America .

During this time a  Obscurus ( credence)  is on the loose causing havoc and death and starting to expose new york to some magical things they cannot ignore.
Tina takes Newt to magical congress to face his fate and he gets accused for the Obscurus as they think it escaped from his suitcase and sentence Tina & Newt to Death and Jacob to be obviated.

But Queenie senses somethings wrong and comes to the rescue and her flirting helps her out along the way and then Free's Jacob while making her way to Newt and Tina 
.
Meanwhile Newt is trying to save Tina from death with his beasts help and also feeling themselves from the doctors wizards that use a spell to make you see memories and walk into lava type stuff to your death but newt saves the day and then they start running away,  while there running to safety they meet up with Queenie and Jacob and go to meet a Goblin Gangster who will help them find the Obscureus.

Then Newt adventures to find the Obscurus and help the child within (well teenager) stand down and explains he can help protect him from graves , but the magical congress have other ideas and fire upon The Obscurus and kill him and then Graves reveals he tried to expose the magical community and reveals his true self As Grindlewald .

They then have to erase peoples memories with Newts Creatures help and then fix the ruins that was caused by the Obscurus  and face a hard truth of erasing there amazing NonMAJ friend Jacobs :( Memory ,

Then they say goodbye and you see newt leaving Jacob something valuable so he can set up his bakery and you see his bakery and see that his mind carved the magical beasts into ideas for banking and you see Queenie walk in and smile.
Leaves you wondering maybe he remembers / or she will trigger more memory. Oh and newt heads home.I think the story went really well and opened up the start of a new magical journey and to unwind a new story for a set of new films .

So that was short version which i did enjoy i though it was clever leaving us to wonder whether Jacob remembers anything at all .
I think they wanted us as the audience to like the character TinaGoldstien but i just couldn't connect to her character at all and thought she was the weakest character in all the movie . My Two Favourite characters were Jacob and Newt.

Overall i rate this movie a 7.5/10 !
Defiantly recommend to watch and its always a good family film but lacking some of the characters enthusiasm and magical attempts like the wand battle between Tina and Grave was seriously S**T i was so disappointed in that battle but for myself Jacob first seeing magic and seeing how quickly he adjusts and falls for Queenie and his friendship blossom with quirky newt was amazing to watch .
Newt , Jacob & Queenie made this film for me .

And dont forget the big Question Do you prefer;
 NO MAJ or MUGGLES
